2. Eligibility for Refund

Refunds are available only under specific circumstances and must meet all eligibility requirements listed below:

  • Request is submitted within the refund window (see Section 3 below).
  • The refund request is made by the account holder or billing contact.
  • The issue must not result from misuse, abuse, or violation of our Terms of Service.
  • Refunds do not apply to renewals, add-ons, domain registrations, or custom services.

3. Refund Window by Service Type

We offer different refund windows depending on the type of hosting plan or service:

a. Shared Hosting (Standard/Business Plans)

  • Eligible for a full refund if canceled within 30 days of purchase.
  • After 30 days, no partial or full refunds will be granted.

b. VPS Hosting & Dedicated Servers

  • Eligible for a partial refund if canceled within 14 days of purchase.
  • Set-up fees and any licensing costs (e.g., cPanel, Plesk) are non-refundable.
  • No refunds will be issued after 14 days.

c. Domain Name Registrations & Transfers

  • All domain name purchases and transfers are non-refundable once processed.
  • This includes new registrations, renewals, and WHOIS privacy services.

d. SSL Certificates

  • Refund requests for SSL certificates must be submitted within 7 days of purchase.
  • Once issued, the certificate becomes non-refundable.

e. Add-On Services

  • Services such as malware protection, website builders, and SEO tools are non-refundable unless otherwise stated during purchase.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email our billing department at contact@klecheerllc.com with the subject line: “Refund Request – [Your Order ID]”.

Your request must include:

  • Full name and email associated with the account
  • Order ID or invoice number
  • Reason for refund request
  • Any troubleshooting steps already taken (if applicable)

Our support team will respond within 3 to 5 business days to process your request.


5. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:

  • Accounts suspended or terminated due to violations of our Acceptable Use Policy or Terms of Service.
  • Refund requests made after the eligible window.
  • Services purchased with promotional pricing, discounts, or limited-time offers.
  • One-time setup fees, software licenses, and third-party services.
  • Cases involving disputes with third-party content providers, payment processors, or banks.
  • Service downtime caused by external factors like DDoS attacks, user misconfiguration, or code errors.

6. Pro-Rated or Partial Refunds

In most cases, we do not offer pro-rated refunds for unused portions of service after the eligible refund period. However, partial refunds may be issued at our sole discretion in rare cases where:

  • The service was not delivered or accessible due to an internal fault.
  • A recurring billing error occurred on our end.
  • A duplicate payment was made.

7. Refund Method & Timeline

If a refund is approved:

  • It will be issued to the original payment method used during purchase.
  • Refunds may take 5 to 10 business days to appear in your bank or credit card statement.
  • If you used PayPal, Stripe, or another third-party gateway, their processing timelines may apply.
  • Refunds cannot be issued via cash, check, or to a different payment method.

8. Chargebacks & Disputes

Initiating a chargeback or dispute without contacting us first will void eligibility for a refund. We take chargebacks seriously and may:

  • Permanently suspend or terminate the associated account.
  • Deny access to future purchases and services.
  • Report the incident to relevant authorities or credit bureaus if fraud is suspected.

9. Cancellations vs. Refunds

Canceling your service does not automatically entitle you to a refund. You must submit a proper refund request in accordance with this policy. Canceling your hosting plan only stops future billing.


10. Promotional Plans and Bundles

Hosting plans or bundles purchased under promotional pricing are non-refundable unless explicitly stated. This includes:

  • Buy-one-get-one deals
  • Discount codes
  • Free trial offers with automatic renewal

If a promotional plan includes a free domain, the standard domain registration fee may be deducted from your refund if the domain was registered successfully.


11. Reseller Accounts

If you are a reseller or using our platform to host multiple client accounts, you are responsible for your own customers. Refund requests on behalf of third-party clients will not be honored unless you have written authorization from them and proof of identity.


12. Policy Changes
